Autumn 2016

It’s taken a while, but at long last the leaf colours are looking fan-blinkin-tastic. In mid October, I spent several days on the south coast and was surprised at how many oranges and yellows I could see; the Isle of Wight was still in green leaf. I guess we must be just a smidge warmer and autumn took three weeks to get to us – not unlike the postal service, sometimes!

  1. Autumn did seem to take a long time to get to us this year, Jules, then happened overnight. This time last week we were commenting on how many leaves were still on the trees, now we’re looking at skeleton branches. Loving and sharing your groovy portraits Flower! 😊
