Easter Library Visits

I had a lovely day on Friday, visiting two of our delightful libraries. Children’s sections are getting more and more used – especially with the advent of the Summer Reading Challenge. I know what the theme is this year….but they haven’t announced it yet, so I can’t say, BUT it’s going to be great! amazing! phizz-whizzing! I’m definitely going to get involved – and children you know will too.

We learned lots about how hares are different from rabbits and made bookmarks, after listening to The House on Hare Hill.

With thanks to Cowes and Freshwater libraries and all the children and grown ups who came and made it a special storytime.
